Tell-tale Spectral Signatures of MHD-driven Ultrafast Outflows in AGNs

Abstract We aim to explore spectral signatures of the predicted multi-ion ultrafast outflows (UFOs) in broadband X-ray spectra active galactic nuclei by exploiting an accretion disk-wind model context a simple magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) framework. are focused primarily on examining dependences number key properties: (1) ionizing luminosity ratio ? ion , (2) line-of-sight wind density slope p (3) optical/UV-to-X-ray strength ? OX (4) inclination ? (5) photon index ?, and (6) factor f D . With emphasis radio-quiet Seyferts sub-Eddington regime, UFO systematically calculated as function these parameters show that MHD-driven UFOs imprint unique asymmetric absorption line profile with pronounced blue tail structure average. Such characteristic signature is generic simplified MHD models presented this work due their specific kinematics structure.
